With the aim of educating children and young people with a sense of goodness, love, peace, respect, friendship, honesty, decency, and the formation of a positive humanistic image, fostering a sense of responsibility and mutual assistance, a competition for children’s creativity has been held for 15 years, started by the charity organization “Kohlhofer Family Foundation”. Since 2014, the competition has been called the All-Ukrainian competition of children’s creativity “Let’s create good for the sake of peace”.
For the last year in a row, in close cooperation with the Khmelnytskyi National Medical Center and the charity organization “Kohlhofer Family Foundation”, a wonderful competition of children’s creativity has been held under the slogan “Let’s create good for the sake of peace”.
Active participants this year, students of 20 cultural and educational institutions, art schools, who study fine and decorative and applied arts (157 creative works). Little artists from the Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, and Kirovohrad regions shared their creativity on the theme of goodness, peace, love, respect, friendship, and honesty.
On May 15, 2023, the jury of the competition took place, which included the leading artists of the Khmelnytsky region: Galina Vikentiivna Buchkivska – Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor of the Department of Fine, Decorative and Applied Arts and Technologies of the Khmelnytskyi Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy; Bohdan Volodymyrovych Krulyk – senior lecturer of the department of technological and professional education and decorative arts of the Khmelnytskyi National University; Lyudmila Fedorivna Rozhko-Pavlenko – teacher-methodist of the Khmelnytskyi Art School, art critic, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine; Stan Taisiya Serhiyivna is the head of the amateur art studio “Handicrafts” of the Khmelnytskyi ONMCiM, the head of the regional branch of the National Union of Folk Art Masters, an honored cultural worker of Ukraine.
According to the jury’s decision, the Grand Prix of the competition went to Vyhovanets Maryana, a student of the Netishyn Art School (teacher Makaryk Alla Mykolaivna), work “Born to do good”.
