Charity run “Run for those who can not do this”

On the 8 of May there will be a world charity race Wings for Life World Run.

Geography it will cover five continents and 33 countries. The money collected through the race, will be sent to fund “Wings For Life”, which is looking for the ways to treat spinal cord injuries.

Wings for Life World Run – a unique type of cross-country competitions. It simultaneously starts in dozens of cities across the globe.

Each participant will have different finish times and at different distances. In an half an hour after the run starts the Catcher Car starts too. It reads еру information from the sensors used by athletes. The car gradually increases speed and reaches members of the run. The moment when you were overtaken by the Catcher Car, is your personal finish time. When the participant of the run crosses the finish line of the car, there is information about the results of your run in online basis.

Khmelnytskiy also have the opportunity to join the charity event. As Khmelnytskiy is not included in the official list of the run, there is an alternative: application Wings for Life World Run – Selfie Run. Thanks to it, all the participants can remotely be the part of the run, wherever they are. You simply download the application Selfie Run for iOS or Android for free.

The charity run starts on May 8th, 2016 at 14:00 near the hotel-restaurant complex “Stork” (Vinnytsya highway 1.5 km. from Khmelnytskiy).
